April Dawn Burch Ousley, born on April 19, 1968, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky. She will be remembered for her dedication, her love for others, and the many passions that brought joy to her life.
April was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and dedicated much of her professional life to fitness as a personal trainer. As an IFBB Figure Pro, she demonstrated the discipline, determination, and commitment that defined her work and accomplishments. Outside of fitness, April had a special love for animals, especially her beloved cat, Gage. She was also a devoted sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the Tennessee Titans and the Louisville Cardinals. Above all else, April’s greatest love was her children, and being a Lovie to her grandson. They meant more to her than anything in the world, and the love she had for them was at the center of her life. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched, the love she shared, and the family who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
April is survived by her loving husband of eight years, James Ousley of Paducah, Kentucky; a daughter, Carson (Austin) Mourad of Paducah, Kentucky; two sons, Cameron (Hailee) Hartig of Paducah, Kentucky and Cole (Abby) Ousley of Henderson, Kentucky; her parents, William and Cereta Hankins Burch; a grandson, Tucker Hartig; and two brothers, Andy (Melissa) Burch of Paducah, Kentucky and Allen (Christy) Burch of Collierville, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
