Anita Louise Lambert

Anita Louise Lambert, 76, of Arlington, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Baptist Health of Paducah.  She was born on May 7, 1947. 
 
Anita worked as the City Clerk of Arlington for 30 years and served as a Commissioner for two years.  She was a faithful member of Beulah Baptist Church for many years.  
 
Anita leaves behind her son who she was so very proud of, Mark E. Lambert and wife, Kelley of Clinton; one brother, David (Anita) Burton of Clinton; two granddaughters whom she loved dearly, Gracie Ann and Lily Marie Lambert of Clinton; and many precious nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Lambert; a son, Kevin Matthew Lambert; her father, Charles Henry Burton; her mother, Anita Clara Everheart Burton; three brothers, Jim, Joseph and Sonny Burton; and a sister, Jane Simmons.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Mark Lambert and Bro. Kody Hopwood officiating.  Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the funeral home.
