Angela Rose Burgess, 76, born on January 4th, 1949, in Fancy Farm, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 19th, 2025, at Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Angela was a homemaker, a loving Mother, and a Nana who brought comfort to many. Her dedication to her faith was evident through her active membership at St. Charles Catholic Church. In her earlier years, Angela channeled her leadership and passion into coaching softball, inspiring young athletes with her soft-spoken enthusiasm.
Her love for the Lord and family was at the core of her being. Angela had a zest for life that could be seen in her many hobbies. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, dancing, reading, bird watching and was an avid UK Basketball fan, bringing energy and joy to every game. Often described as the "At Home Taxi" for her unwavering readiness to lend a hand and "all-around Mom and Nana" for her all-encompassing care, Angela approached life with unstoppable vigor. Her spirit as a fighter with a strong will to live and a never give up attitude earned her the affectionate title of "Superwoman".
