William Edward Cumbee, 81 of Mayfield, passed away Thursday September 21, 2023 at his home.
He is survived by his finance, Brenda Smith of Lone Oak. One daughter, Richmond Zuniga of Mayfield. One son, William D. Cumbee of Lovelessville. Four brothers; Hurley (Judy) Cumbee of Warren, Michigan, Larry (Debbie) Cumbee of Pottsville, KY., James D. (Sharon) Cumbee of Hickory. One sister, Patricia E. Kirks of Illinois.
Three grandchildren; Maryann E. Gossett, Hurleta M. Harsha and Charlie R. Mathis. Nine great grandchildren. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cumbee was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Wright Cumbee. And a sister, Brenda Cumbee.
Friends may visit with the family from 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday September 27, 2023 at New Life Community Church in Bardwell, Kentucky. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday September 28, 2023 at New Life Community Church in Bardwell, Kentucky. The Rev. Will Griffin officiating. Interment to follow at the Harris Cemetery in West Paducah.
