Trudy Kay Helton

Trudy Kay Helton of Paducah born Aug 1, 1966, lost her battle with cancer on November 7, 2025, a fighter to the very end.  
 
Trudy and her late husband built a foundation of family and love that was unbreakable.  She was the pillar of the family, a true testament of love and strength combined. She had many accomplishments in this life, but the greatest one was her family. A heart that loved so hard, and a force to be reckoned with, she fought hard for them. She loved being a mother but her most cherished title was being a MeMe to her grandchildren. 
 
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Daniels (Bobbie), sons, James (Jessica), Keith (Angel), and Kevin Helton; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandkids; one sister; two brothers; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. 
 
She was preceded in death by her one true love, Kenny Helton; her parents, Floyd and Betty Hook; and two sisters, Brenda and Carolyn.
 
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Doom's Chapel Cemetery in Symsonia.
 
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
