Stephanie Upton

Stephanie Lynn Upton, 53, of West Paducah, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday morning, March 20, 2024 at her home.

Stephanie was a loving Daughter, Mother, and Nana. Her grandbabies were her pride and joy. Stephanie had a servant’s heart and a passion for helping the homeless. She helped numerous people in Tent City, formerly known as Beyond the Gate Ministry. Stephanie never met a stranger. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Briensburg, KY. Stephanie may have budded on Earth, but she is blooming in Heaven.

Stephanie is survived by four children, Haley Gilley of Eufala, OK, Tanner (Lauren) Gilley of Wichita, KS, Zachary Mistelkse of Cleveland, OH, and Seth Adelman  of Paducah; her dad and stepmom, Chuck and Sandra Wallace of Benton, KY; two brothers, Ricky (Crystal) Wallace of Benton, KY and Charlie Wallace of Warren, OH; one stepbrother, Billy (Kim) Van Pelt of Tell City, IN; one sister in love/caregiver, Sandra Orazine of West Paducah; four grandsons, three granddaughters, aunt, Karen Dinehart-Wanders; other loving aunts, uncles and several nieces, and nephews.

Preceding Stephanie in death is her mom, Diane Dinehart Burich; her maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Robert Dinehart; and paternal grandparents, Gladys and Claude Hawn.

A memorial service for Stephanie will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 11:00 am at Christian Fellowship Church in Briensburg, KY with Rev. Richie Clendenen officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or PanCAN.
