Ronnie D. Smith

Ronnie D. Smith, age 66, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center surrounded by his beloved family. Ronnie was married to Sarah (Gray) Smith, and they enjoyed Forty-Eight blessed years together. They have two children, Brian (Carilla) Smith, James (Chasity) Smith; three sisters; Pat (Randy) Pierce, Charlene Ballard and Dortha Poyner. Grandchildren: Kylen Smith, Ayden Smith, Mason Smith, Caleigh Fulk, Clay Smith, Devyn West, Daniel Ivie, Hunter Taylor and Justice Rathman. Great Grandchildren: Allie McReynolds, Shane McReynolds, Raylan Rathman and Atlas Smith. Along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Ronnie was a member of Trinity Church of Hickory, KY. He was an outdoorsman who loved to mow, fish, and work in his garden. Ronnie loved spending time with his family and friends. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Odell and Leona Smith; two brothers and five sisters. Mr. Ronnie Smith's family visitation will be on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and friends' visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, with the funeral to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home and, Officiating the service will be Bro.
