Roland Wilfred Mallas Jr., 82, of Paducah passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Southgate Nursing & Rehab in Metropolis, IL.
Roland was a retired truck driver from Roadmax. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and of the Catholic Faith.
Surviving are his children, Dawn (Todd) Willette, James Mallas, Tim (Kimberly) Mallas, Christina Mallas; and his grandchildren, Desaray Williams, Timothy Mallas Jr., Ashley Mallas, Zachariah Mallas, Julia Mallas, Lilianna Mallas, Elijah Strickland, Caleb Mallas, and Amelia Mallas; and one great-grandson, Jacob Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Mallas Sr. and Audrey Mallas.
Funeral services will be at 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Lindsey Funeral Home with Fr. Gary Clark officiating.
Friends may visit the family from 1:00pm to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
