Richard “Dick” Reynolds, 84, of Metropolis, met his heavenly reward on Friday morning, March 21st, 2025 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Born February 12th, 1941, in Richland, N.Y. To Orlando and Gladys Reynolds. Dick was a retired boilermaker with the Fulton Boiler Works in Pulaski, N.Y. Dick was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Metropolis, Il. Dick was US Army veteran having served 3 years at Fort Campbell in the 101st Airborne Division.
Dick is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Margie Childers Reynolds; two children, Nathan (Brenda) Reynolds, and Margo (Wayne) Moyer; three sisters, Mary Woolson, Jane Dingman, & Suzie Norton; one brother, Frank Reynolds; four grandchildren, Amanda (Alex) Jack, Daniel Reynolds, Guile Scriber, & Mallory (Andy) English; three great grandchildren, Jameson & Johnathan Jack, & Axel English.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Orlie, Bill, Fred, & Joe Reynolds: two sisters, Elsie & Ruth, and his parents, Orlando and Gladys Reynolds.
