Ramona Hodges joins her late parents Floyd and Verna Marshall, her sisters Sharon and Pat, her husband Charles, her two daughters Suzanne and Lisanne, her foxtrotter mare TaterBug, her cat Flizz, and a good many friends in afterlife, not to mention countless horses, cats, dogs, and other strays she helped (with only rarely a protest) along the way. She is survived by her adopted daughter, Crystal, and her cat Butters.

Ramona was a member of the Park Street Church of Christ, had been active in her daughters' Scouts, 4-H, and equestrian activities, and was usually ready with bail money for Lisa. She adored gruesome true crime TV shows. She was an avid Horse Girl from start to finish, and passed along her superpowers of passive aggression and sarcasm.

Thoughts and prayers are welcomed, but also, please:

Don't forget to enjoy things like cats in sunspots, Gunsmoke reruns, chocolate malts, sleepy horses, and long naps. No matter how long a life is, it's too short not to enjoy.
