Linda Marie (Neihoff) Hines 83 of Paducah passed away May 7, 2025, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Linda was born on May 11, 1941, here in Paducah to Elenora and Orville Neihoff
Linda was the second daughter of twelve children and often spoke of the fond memories she had of helping to raise her younger brothers and sisters. That was the beginning of a long life of nurturing and caring for others. She was a very beloved member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she developed a strong belief in Jesus’ words at John 5:28,29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…”. Until that day arrives when we see her again, her family’s wish is that all her family and friends find comfort in the many fond memories she has given us
Linda is survived by four daughters: Janet (Marty) Crotser, Theresa (Michael) Hayden, Pam (John) Nelson, Gina (Bob) Leeper and Three Grandchildren: Nikki (TJ) White, Joshua Hayden, Adam (Charity) Gilbert; Two Great-Grandsons: Wyatt and Hudson Gilbert
Linda was Preceded in death by: Her husband, James Allen Hines, her only son David Allen Hines, and one grandson, Benjamin Hayden and her parents Orville and Elenora Neihoff, as well as three of her brothers: David Neihoff, Lawrence Neihoff, and Joey Neihoff and one sister Sharon (Neihoff) Caldwell.
Linda’s surviving siblings are: Margaret (Sonny) Ballard, Robert “Bob” (Yolande) Neihoff, Elizabeth “Liz” (Jeff)Nelson, Patricia (Claude) Cashon, Velma (Paul) Thompson, Regina” Jeannie” (Kenny) Spraggs, Sandra “Sandy” (Darryl) Gish.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday May 17th, 2025, at 2pm here at Lindsey Funeral Home
Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm here at Lindsey Funeral Home
