Kevin Lynn Ford

It’s with great sadness the family of Kevin Lynn Ford announces his passing to his eternal home.

Kevin Lynn Ford, 50, of Carbondale, IL formerly of Barlow, KY passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at SIU Carbondale.

Kevin was the owner/operator of KLF Designs where he was an architect and draftsman. He was a member of Barlow United Methodist Church. He loved old cars, fine food, architecture, baseball, music, and interior design. He also loved traveling, history, politics, his family and his Lord.

Surviving are his two siblings, Keith (Susie) Ford of Iowa and Mary Kay (Ben) Kennedy of Kevil; three nieces, Allanay Ford, MaKayla Ford, Caroline Kennedy; one great-nephew, Beau Ford; and his close friend, Christina Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Allen and Kathleen Ford.

Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in LaCenter Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 12:00pm to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
