It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth L. Hyatte Sr., who passed away peacefully at his home on January 30, 2025. He was 84 years old.
 
Kenneth retired after 48 years from Arico Alloys, where he was a dedicated and hardworking member of the team. His family, faith, and community were always at the center of his life. Known for his kind and loving nature, Kenny (also affectionately known as George) was a man who truly cherished the moments spent with his loved ones.
 
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Solomon, and his brothers Tom Hyatte and Jack Hyatte. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Nancy C. Hyatte, and their children. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his family including, Kenneth L. Hyatte Jr. (Sheila) with 5 children and 17 grandchildren; Larry R. Hyatte (Debbie) with 6 children and 7 grandchildren; Jeanna R. Henson (deceased) with 1 child and 6 grandchildren; David Taylor (Carrie) with 4 children and 3 grandchildren; Jeff Taylor (Pat) with 6 children and 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
 
His family wishes to thank everyone for the prayers and love shown during his homegoing.
 
A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at Lindsey Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 1:00pm with the Rev. James Downey officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
 
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
