Glen “Doc” Menser passed away on January 31, 2026, surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and a life well lived.

Born on July 21, 1948, Glen dedicated 45 years of service to Paducah Tent and Awning, where he worked from 1976 until his retirement in 2021. Known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and pride in his craft, Glen was more than an employee—he was a cornerstone of the company and a respected colleague to many who had the privilege of working alongside him. Above all else, Glen was a family man.

He is survived by his children: Rhonda Menser, Julie Dorsey, Lora Ashby, Melinda Lee, Steve Millhizer, and Stacy Cooper. He also leaves behind his siblings: Freda Bobo, Betty Ford, Christine Walker, and Harold Menser. Glen was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply and took great pride in.

Glen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pam Millhizer; his parents, William B. Menser and Nellie Menser; and his brothers, Chester Knight, Fred “Buddy” Menser, and Billie Menser.

Those who knew Glen will remember him for his steady presence, his dedication to providing for his family, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the family who carries his legacy forward.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday February 6, 2026 at Lindsey Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Palestine Cemetery Fund.
