Gerald "Jerry" Snook, a Navy veteran and a well-known, beloved figure in the antique community of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 83. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

Jerry was born on October 7, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo. He proudly served in the Navy during Vietnam and serving his country with honor and distinction for six years. Jerry served on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Jerry moved to Paducah in 1982 and later started his career as an antique dealer. He was passionate about antiques and loved talking to others about them. He was well-known in the community for his knowledge and expertise, and he generously shared his expertise with anyone who was interested. He appeared for a number of years on WPSD TV 's  "What's It Worth?"

Jerry was also a lifelong Cardinals baseball fan and rarely missed a game. He loved to joke and was always the life of any gathering. He had an infectious sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

Jerry was an avid traveler and had a lot of interesting stories to tell. He traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad, and his adventures were always entertaining and enlightening.

Jerry is survived by his wife Carol and three daughters Kim Lamb (Mark), Lori Easley (Todd), and Sherry Lamb, as well as his grandchildren Robert, Emily, Daniel, Dylan (Kaitlyn), Lee, and Brady. He was a devoted, loving husband, supportive father and grandfather.

Jerry Snook's passing is a great loss to his family and to all those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but always remembered with love and respect. Rest in peace, Jerry, and thank you for your service to our country and your contributions to the community. 

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating. Burial with military honors will follow Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to any charity that supports homeless or disabled veterans.
