Elzie "Mutt"Jackson, 86, of Salempassed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Livingston County Hospital and Healthcare Services.
Mutt was a retired farmer. He loved to fish, pitch washers, andmowhis yard. Surviving are his two sons, Elzie Matthew (Ozetta) Jackson and Steffan Monroe (Kimberly) Jackson; two siblings, Bessie Wilson and Carol (Jenny) Jackson; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Jackson; his parents,Oather and Rosie Jackson; three siblings, Charles, Norma Jean, and Caroyn.
He will be cremated per his wishes and no services will be held.
