David Lee “Davie” Shew, 92, of Metropolis, died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his home.
David retired from the Washington Township School System and was a member of West Union Friends church in Monrovia, Indiana.
David is survived by his wife, Kathleen Shew; four children, Rebecca Spoon, Teresa Lynn Terry, Thomas David Shew, and Michael Jennings Shew; one brother, Steven Michael Shew; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding David in death are his parents, Franklin Jennings and Vitalina Norine Shew.
No services are scheduled at this time.
