Darla Jones

Darla Sue Jones, 68, of Paducah passed away Monday May 25, 2026, at Lourdes Hospice surrounded by her family. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She loved reading, baking cakes, and caring for her five cats and her dog, Roxy. She dedicated her life to those around her. Darla retired from Red’s Donut Shop after 30 years of service. Darla is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward L. Jones and three children; Christie Chappell, Darlene (Rodney) Holt, and William Jones, one sister; Belinda (Donnie) Langston, eleven grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; William (Bill) and Linda Keeling, her sister; Melissa (Missy) Keeling, and one brother; William Keeling. Darla’s favorite Bible verse was; For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 2 Cor 5:7-8 NLT, Darla also loved the bible verse Matthew 6:25-34 Visitation will be held on Monday June 1, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home.
