Charlotte June Tibbs

Charlotte June Tibbs, 94, of Boaz, KY passed away on Monday, 2, 2026 at Mills Nursing Home in Mayfield, KY. Charlotte enjoyed working at Cherry the florist where she met her late husband. She retired from her job at JC. Penny with over 20 years of service, she also loved riding her golfcart around the lake. In her off time, she enjoyed spending time fishing, planting her flowers, gardening and listening to Elvis, also her favorite TV shows “Walker Texas Ranger”,” Gun Smoke”, “KY Basketball” (Only if they win). Charlotte is survived by her children: Danny Steger, Mike (Linda) Steger, Wayne (Theresa) Steger, Sandy (Tidbit) Montgomery, one sister: Patty Hobbs, one brother: Lee (Joyce) Bearden, one daughter in-law: Sabrina Steger, several grandchildren, great- children, one great- great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harold & Pauline Bearden, husband: Jim Tibbs, daughter: Cathy Turner, one sister: Beatrice “Teenie” Grubbs, two brothers: Gugene Bearden, Paul Bearden. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 11th, 2026, 11:00am to 1:00pm at Mt. Zions Baptist Church in Paducah, KY. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 11th, 2026, at 1:00pm at Mt. Zions Baptist Church in Paducah, KY with Rev. Jason Medley officiating the service burial will be in Mt. Zions Baptist Church Cemetery on a later date.
