Brett A. Smith

Brett A. Smith, 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah. Brett was a retired journeyman and machine repairman from Bosch. His life hobbies included playing the drums, riding his Harley, golfing, fishing, and sport fandom. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. Brett spent time serving as a volunteer EMT/firefighter for Hagar Fire Department. He had endless qualities however, the one that stands out the most was his Christian faith. Surviving are his three children, Danea Smith, Joshua (Ashley) Smith, Bradley (Natasha) Smith; the mother of his children, Linda Smith; one sister, Rhonda Jo Smith; two brothers, Bruce (April) Smith, Richard (Brenda) Smith; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Smith; his father, Ronald Elmer Smith; his mother, Peggy Jo Stutzman; his stepfather, Kenneth Stutzman; and one sister, Candice Zavoral.
