Betty Lou Voebell Johandes

Betty Lou Voebell Johandes, 83, of Hickory, Ky., met her heavenly reward on Wednesday morning, April 23^rd, 2025 at her home. Betty was a retired Cash Manager for William A. Lewis Clothing and Furs of Tinley Park, Il. Betty lived the Presbyterian faith thru her life and followed the Catholic teachings as well. Betty enjoyed playing board games with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by two children, Sandra Johandes Barajas of Hickory Hills, Il., and Bobby Johandes of Ireland; one sister, Carol Joyce of New Lenox, Il.; five grandchildren; nephew, David Olendorf of Manhattan, Il., Niece, TerryLynn Saylor of Hickory, Ky., two great nephews, Michael Saylor and Andrew Crum(Saylor) of Hickory, Ky., and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Johandes Sr.; one sister, Jane Huff; and her mother and father, Lawrence Voebell and Betty Baker Voebell.
