Annabelle Followell

Annabelle Followell, 91, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Annabelle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devout Christian and attended Lone Oak First Baptist church for many years before moving to Florida. Later in life, she followed the Kentucky Lake Cowboy Church in Marshall County.

Annabelle is survived by three children, Robert “Bud” (Mary) Followell, Jr. of Lake Placid, Florida, Janie (Rick) Rice of Paducah, and Janice (Brent) Fisher of Benton; six grandchildren, Dillon Followell, Amanda Followell, Victoria Adams, Candice Rice-Williams, Clint Fisher, and Darrell Fisher; eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Annabelle is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert “Darrell” Followell, Sr; her parents, Richard and Ellen Swansey; and two siblings, Jane Leverett and Charles Swansey.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
