Gabriella “Gabby” S. Mays, 18, of Benton died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at her residence. She was aspiring to be a veterinarian after graduating from Marshall County High school with the class of 2022. She was employed by Qdoba in Paducah. She was a member of the Marshall County Choir and enjoyed spending time with her grandparents. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in Gilbertsville, KY with Pastor Dale Greenwell officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Miles officiating the graveside. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 10:00 am until the funeral hour. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah is in charge of the arrangements.
Gabby is survived by her parents: Jonathan and Jenny Mays of Benton: her brothers: Scott Anthony Mays and Gavin Mays; her sisters: Desiree (Joshua) Marshall, Christin (Duane) O’Brien and Michaella Mays; her grandfather: Sam Mays; her grandmother: Bonnie Felts; four nieces and two nephews; her birth parents: Mark Sharp & Shona Lee Miller Sharp; her brother: Mark Sharp and Calvin (Magan) Sharp.
Gabby was preceded in death by her grandfather: Larry Felts; her grandmother: Sheila Mays, her grandparents: Franklin & Maxine Sharp, and Don Miller and Barbara Lamb.
