David Paul Alsobrook, 78, of Benton, KY died Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home. David was born the son of the late Paul and Eddie B. Alsobrook. He was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and retired from Westvaco Paper Mill in Wickliffe. Besides God and family, David loved to fish and was always ready to hook up the boat and head to the lake. He was a great Dad and Step-dad. If any of his girls needed help or advise, he was always there, whether it be moving across town or across the country, he would be there.
David is survived by his wife, Joann Alsobrook of Benton; his daughters, Connie Turner (Tim) of Gilbertsville and Tammie Alsobrook of Broken Arrow, OK; his step-daughters, Samantha Reed (Ricky) of Benton, Barbara Reed of Orlando, FL, and Regina Powers of Benton; eleven grandchildren, Heather Gardner (Michael), Josh Tracey (Grace), Carlie Burnett (Will), Michael Malone, Nicole Baxter (Chris), Jenny Johnson (Dom), Rachael Reed (Kyle), Aaron Reed, Brooke Powers, Bailey Reed, and Keiran Powers; fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Louise Cleveland, Donna Kay Beaven, and Paula B. Williams.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Rogers; and one brother, Daniel Alsobrook.
A funeral service will be held, Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home in Paducah. Burial will follow at Dyer Hill Cemetery in Livingston County. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
