Vickie Curwick

Ms. Vickie Lynn Curwick,  67, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Murray Calloway County Hospital after a long and tough battle with cancer.

Vickie was born on December 27, 1955 in Kankakee, IL to the late Edward and Ruth Ellen Langlois.  She adored her family and friends but especially her grandchildren.  She was definitely feisty and always said exactly how she felt. You always knew where you stood with her.  She was thought of and called "Momma" by all.  She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those she lovingly leaves behind include her son, Marcus Hammond (fiance, Tiffany Boaz) of Greenfield, TN; two daughters, Kristie Garza (Joey) of Kankakee, IL, Penny Foster (Brandon) of Woodbury, TN; two brothers, Donald Langlois (Lillie) of Bradley, IL, John Langlois of Kankakee, IL; two sisters, Carol Chapman (Ned) of Kankakee, IL, Janice Fender (Jerry) of Bourbonnais, IL; grandchildren, Keagan Illum, Jordan Hammond, Marciyah Hammond, Boston Hammond, Jerzee Hammond, Ryker Hammond, A'derria Foster, Madisyn Foster.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 pm - 6 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray, KY 42071.
