Shirley Anne Bouknight

Mrs. Shirley Anne Bouknight, 87, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2024 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.  

Mrs. Bouknight was born the late Trellis and Ina Lawrence Seaford on August 2, 1936 in Murray, KY.  She was a graduate of Murray High School.  Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and cherished friend.  Her memory will live in the hearts of all who knew her.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mr. Glenn Bouknight; two sons, Gary Utley and Stephen Utley as well as a sister, Peggy Seaford.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories include her son, Mike Utley of Murray; her grandson, Hunter Utley (special friend, Aubree Tilley) of Murray; a brother, Steve Seaford (Rhonda) of Springfield, TN;  a niece, Lee Seaford of Bowling Green, KY; nephews, Trey Seaford and Drew Seaford of Nashville, TN and two great nephews, Trellis Allessio and Rhett Reynolds.

A private, family graveside service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Murray Memorial Gardens.

Shirley's family would like to give a special thanks to Hickory Woods Memory Care Unit and staff, Dawn, Lana, Shelia and April for their care, love and support over the past 2 1/2 years, as well as, the Anna Mae Owen Hospice for their great care over the past few weeks.
