Michael Joe Bolen

Mr. Michael Joe Bolen, 65, of Murray, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Bolen was born to the late Okey Hub Bolen and Joanna Cadle Bolen on February 29, 1960 in Chicago, IL.  He attended Murray State University as a Outdoor Recreation and Biology major.  He loved being outdoors hunting, trapping, and enjoying nature.  He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a two brothers, James Glen Bolen and Terry Okey Bolen.

Those left to cherish his memory is a son, Chase Bolen (Kristin) of Murray; two daughters, Chelsea Bolen of Paris, TN and Charis Bolen of Murray; two sisters, Karen Kineman (Doug) of Paducah, Tobie Allen of Paducah and one grandchild, Billie Mae Bolen-Hall.  In addition, he leaves behind the mother of his children and bestfriend, Christina Shepherd of Murray.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.

His family welcomes visitors from 11 am until the funeral hour on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the funeral home.
