Larry Dale Nimmo

Mr. Larry Dale Nimmo, 81 of Dexter, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Larry was born on April 6, 1943 in Marshall County, KY in his family home to the late Levi Thomas Nimmo and Mary Hazel Lovett.  Larry attended South Marshall High School where he graduated in 1961.  He was drafted into the Army on March 5, 1966 during the Vietnam War.  He received honorable discharge in 1972.  Larry was self employed as a general contractor until his retirement in November 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Thomas Doyle Nimmo.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his loving wife, Mrs. Elaine Nimmo, to whom he married on December 31, 1974; his daughter, Debbie Elaine Lynn (Joe); granddaughter, Melissa Elaine Lynn Stine (Scott); five great grandsons, Mahlon Stine, Bryce Stine, Jase Stine, Eli Stine and Gabe Stine.

Graveside services are set for 2 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Brooks Chapel Cemetery.  Kendrick Lewis will officiate.

There will be no public visitation held.
