Lance A Turner

Mr. Lance A Turner, 63, of Aurora, KY passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Turner was born on July 20, 1959 in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Joyce Ipaulita Pistilli Turner.  Lance proudly retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service to his country.  While enlisted he worked as a Military Police Investigator and later served as Military Contract Security Manager over the Pentagon and US Navy Annex.  He and his wife, Beth, attended North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Lance left this earth too soon and will be dearly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 19 years, Mrs. Beth Stinson Turner of Aurora, KY; two sons, Anthony Turner (Mandy) of Georgia, Caleb Duke of Tampa, Florida; three daughters, Deborah McCarson (David) of South Carolina, Amanda Roberts (Donnie), Holley Duke of Cave City, Kentucky; three brothers; two sisters; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service with military honors is set for 1 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.  Sammy Cunningham will officiate.

His family welcomes visitors from 11 am - 1 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
