Jimmy "JD" Paschall

Mr. Jimmy "JD" Paschall, 79 of Murray, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home.

JD was born to the late Roosevelt and Cloteal Paschall on December 21, 1945 in Henry County, TN.  He graduated from Henry County High School in 1965 and in 1966 was drafted to the Army and served in the Vietnam Theatre.  He retired from the Murray Fire Department after 25 years.  JD was not one to seek spotlight but could often be found in the background supporting the effort where needed.  He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Noble Paschall, Darvin Paschall and Gerald Paschall.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his loving wife, Mrs. Leanne Paschall of Murray; a daughter, Brandy Paschall (Anthony Lawrence) of Hazel; a son, Alex Paschall (Laren) of Murray; a sister, Evell Colley of Puryear and three grandchildren, Zane, Destiny and Emma Paschall.

A funeral service honoring the life of Mr. Jimmy Dan Paschall is set for 12 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.  Burial with military honors will follow at Paschall Cemetery in Henry County, TN.  

His family welcomes visitors from 10 am until 12 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Imes Funeral Home.
