Jane Lee Field

Mrs. Jane Lee Field, 73, of Murray, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Jane was born to Lee and Betty (Bell) Dunham on May 29, 1953 in Fort Smith, AR. 
She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Her unwavering faith in God guided her throughout her life. For 52 wonderful years, she shared a loving marriage with her best friend and soulmate, Robert.
She was the heart of her family and the backbone of a strong military family, providing steadfast support through every season of life. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved. Whether gathered with family, visiting with friends, or enjoying the companionship of her beloved Boston Terrier and “soul-dog,” Toby, she treasured every moment spent with those closest to her heart.
Children held a special place in her life, and she found great fulfillment as an in-home childcare provider. She lovingly cared for children, creating a nurturing environment where they felt loved. Jane enjoyed playing tennis, ballroom dancing, and relaxing on sun-soaked beaches all over the world. She was also an enthusiastic sports fan who rarely missed cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks football and the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
Perhaps her greatest gift was the way she made others feel. She had a unique ability to make every person feel special and valued because she genuinely cared. Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Those she lovingly leaves behind include her loving husband, Robert Field of Murray; two daughters, Angela Sames (William) of Murray, Rebecca Lee Miller (Shawn) of Murray; and one sister, Maryetta Padgett (Wayne) of Glenwood, AR.
