Jacqueline "Jackie" Rushing

Ms. Sarah Jacqueline "Jackie" Rushing, 92, of Murray died Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center, Mayfield, KY.

Jackie was born to the late Raymond and Euda Putman Lewis on May 2, 1933 in Joppa, IL. She was a member of West Murray Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Paul Rushing; a brother, Gary Lewis; two sisters, Winona McRoy and Patricia Albritten.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Charles Rushing (Teresa) of Almo, Stan Rushing (Shelia) of Dallas, TX; a daughter in law, SandyRushing of Murray; four grandchildren, Julie Zacharko(Mark), Chase Rushing, Shantell Jenkins (Eric), Shawna Munger (Blake) and great grandchildren, Traci and Ryan Zacharko, Jaxon and Jayden Jenkins and Beckett and Baylor Munger.

Friends and family are welcome to the public graveside service set for 2 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Murray City Cemetery.
