Imogene D. Hartsfield

Mrs. Imogene Delighten Hartsfield, 84, of Murray, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville,  TN.   

Imogene was born on June 28, 1937 in Murray, KY to the late George and Evelyn Washington.  She attended Douglas High School and was of Baptist faith.  Imogene spent a lot of time reading her bible and listening to music.  She adored her family and will be dearly missed.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mr. Robert L. Hartsfield, Sr. and a son, Lonnie Martin.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her son, Robert Hartsfield, Jr. (Maria) of Murray; two daughters, Lottie Dunlap of Murray, Virginia Payne of Murray; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

The funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Imogene Hartsfield is set for 12 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray.  Burial will follow at Murray City Cememtery.

Her family welcomes visitors from 10 am until 12 pm at the funeral home.
