Mr. Gustav J. Frey, 87, of Murray, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Frey was born to Gustav Frey and Lydia Kludt on February 25, 1937 in Forest Park, IL. Gustav was an avid woodworker and also loved to travel and spend time outdoors. He and his wife are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murray.
Mr. Frey was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Frank Frey and a sister, Lydia Gonder.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include his wife of almost 60 years, Delores Frey of Murray; three sons, Joe Frey (Julie) of Phoenix, AZ, Gustav Frey (Laura) of Portland, OR, Fred Frey (Madeline) of Chicago, IL; a daughter, Jill Liquori of Murray; grandchildren, Shelby, RJ, Frank, Alexander, Zach, Nicholas, Dante, Nick, Daniel, Sabrina; several great grandchildren; nieces, Spring Kneller, Susan Emmack, Allison Groteleuschen and nephews, Mark Gonder and Scot Gonder.
