Douglas Gene Jourden

Mr. Douglas Gene Jourden, 74, of the Lynn Grove community, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at AHC in Paris, TN.

Gene, or "Bud", as most called him, was born on January 7, 1949 in Paducah, KY to the late Ray and Johnnie Farley Jourden.  He retired from General Tire and also loved his role as a bus driver for the Calloway County School System.  Gene was a member of Williams Chapel Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Vincenti; two sisters, Marjorie Hall and Janice Pritchett, in addition to his parents.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include two grandsons, Tyse Vincent of Paducah, Trevor Jones of Metropolis, IL; two nephews, Robert Jourden of Paris, TN and Tommy Pritchett of Calvert City.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Spring Creek Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Tyse Vincent, Trevor Jones, Renaldo Jones, James Henry Armstrong, Tommy Futrell, Don Jones.

His family welcomes visitors from 11 am - 1 pm on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the funeral home.
