Burna Schroader

Mrs. Burna Parks Schroader, 82,  of Dexter, passed away on October 16, 2023 at Lakeway Nursing and Rehab.

Mrs. Schroader was born on August 3, 1941 to the late Eunice Kelly Parks and Itha Swor Parks.  She worked in book keeping at Vance Heating and Air in Murray.  Burna was a longtime member of Wranglers Riding Club and loved to sew.  She attended Union Grove Church of Christ.  She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Mr. Jimmy Lee Schroader.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her son, Kelvin Schroader (Teresa) of Dexter; a daughter, Melissa Rowland (Bobby) of Almo; a brother, David Lynn Parks of Benton; three grandchildren, Kelsey Schroader of Dexter, Renae Overbey (Jimmy) of Murray, Michelle O'Bryan (Tyson) of Almo; great grandchildren, Grant Barnard (Karlee), Abbi Sullivan, Layla O'Bryan, Laci Davenport, Jimmy O'Dell Overbey, Mattie Overbey, Molly Overbey, as well as, two great great grandchildren, Grayson and Kason Barnard.

The funeral service honoring Mrs. Burna Schroader is set for 11 am on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Imes Funeral Home.  John Dale and Johnny Parker will officiate and burial will follow at Schroader and Peeler Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Gary Evans, Mike Schroader, Robert Schroader, Charles Deering, Earl Schroader, Rob Marquardt, Jimmy Overbey, Molly Overbey.

Her family welcomes visitors from 5-8 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Imes Funeral Home.
