Anthony Sorrisso

Mr. Anthony John Sorrisso, 81, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House. Tony moved to Murray, KY to live out the rest of his years. 
Tony was born to the late Thomas and Mary Marsala Sorrisso on October 14, 1943 in Chicago, IL.  In his younger years while in Chicago, he had a band called “The Millionaires”.  He was a talented saxophone player and carried that throughout his life.  Tony loved his children and grandchildren and was a friend and confidant to many, as well as, a well respected insurance agent throughout the Chicago area. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Salvatore Sorrisso and a sister in law, Mary Ann Sorrisso.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tony Sorrisso (Susan) of IL, Dawn Sorrisso Pruente (Rich) of IL, Laura Maldonado (Angelo) of IL, Dominic Sorrisso (Darlene) of IL, Jona Sorrisso- Parrinello (Nick) of IL, Jason Sorrisso (Kathleen) of IL, Lynette Galvan of Benton, KY, Angela Medina (Joseph) of Symsonia, KY; grandchildren, Tessa, Justin, Raelle, Santino, Renee, Gino, Tony, Trey, Nikki, Amber, Angel, Anthony, Brandon, Jospeh, Eric, Nico, Alex, as well as nine great grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at a future date in Chicago.
