Mrs. Anna Jane Page, 82, of Graves County, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Jane was born on August 27, 1941 in Calloway County to the late Hafford "Shine" McReynolds and Lucy Dick McReynolds. She retired from Murray State University and was of Baptist faith.
Mrs. Page was a devoted and cherished mother and grandmother. She had a deep love for basketball, particularly for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and Murray State University Racers. Whether cheering from the stands or in front of the TV, her spirit and love for the sport were evident to all. However, her most cherished moments were spent watching her grandchildren play for the Graves County Eagles basketball team. She was their biggest fan, attending games rain or shine. While basketball was a significant part of her life, her greatest love was her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Page and a daughter, Janna York.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her daughter, Melanie Page of Graves County; grandchildren, Tia Hughes of Graves County; Jacob York (Galen) of Atlanta, GA; two great grandchildren, Darrell and Gaige Hughes as well as a son in law, Tim York of Marshall County.
The funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Jane Page is set for 1 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray. Spence Pate will officiate and burial will follow at Story Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mitchell Dick, Michael Dick, Tim York, Jacob York, Don Nowlin, Stan Henley. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Hughes, Gaige Hughes, Donald Coltharp, Thomas Ford, Ray Hendon.
