Amanda Ann Laster

Mrs. Amanda Ann Laster, 37, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026 in Murray.
Amanda was born to David and Teresa Wring Nall on July 11, 1988, in Paducah, KY.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, and treasured friend. 
Her family was the center of her world. Amanda’s mission was creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. Amanda was also a talented cook, working at Mr. Gatti's. But she shared the best of her culinary talents with her family. Amanda enjoyed reading, tending her plants, rock collecting, bird watching, and traveling with her family. She appreciated the simple pleasures of life, with a fondness for nature, especially animals such as dogs, frogs, and axolotl. It was very important to her to care for those around her. Most importantly she will be remembered fondly as a proud mother who would do anything for her children.
One of the greatest blessings of her life was her love story with her husband, Chris. Their journey began when they were just 13 years old, growing from childhood sweethearts into lifelong partners. Through every season of life, they stood side by side. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her family treasures the many wonderful memories that they will hold in their hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her son, Brayden Alexander Laster.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her husband, Chris Laster of Murray; her daughter, Katelyn Laster of Murray; brothers, David Wayne Nall, Cody Edwards, Justin Edwards, Jonathan Cotton, all of Paducah, as well as, her mother in law, Penny Baird of Paducah.
A joint funeral service for Amanda, and her son, Brayden is set for 6 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray.
Her family welcomes visitors from 3 PM – 6 PM on Wednesday at the Heritage Chapel.
