Alyce "Diane" Underwood

Ms. Alyce "Diane" Underwood, 80, of Eddyville, KY, formerly of Murray, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Mills Health and Rehab in Mayfield.  

Diane was born on July 22, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA.  She was a dedicated registered nurse who spent the majority of her nursing career serving in long-term care.  After retiring from nursing, she enjoyed spending her time doing the things she loved most. She especially loved fishing and boating.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Chambers, as well as, a great friend, Rick Medley.

Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her sons, Troy Underwood of Mayfield, KY, Erik Underwood of Louisville, KY; granddaughters, Taylor Clark (Ryan) and Hadley Underwood, both of Murray and best friend, Shirley Medley of Eddyville, KY.  

Her family welcomes visitors from 1-3 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray, KY 42071.
