Alisa Joy Camp

Mrs. Alisa Joy Camp, 52, of Murray, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Joy was born on March 19, 1974 in Murray, KY to the late Randall and Debra Shekell. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a proud grandmother and found happiness in caring for those she loved. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Randall Shekell and a sister, Dawn Shekell.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her husband of 29 years, Michael Camp of Murray; two sons, Nathan Camp (Tabatha) of Murray, Devin Camp (Chloe Farris) of Murray; a sister, Brandi Shekell of Murray and three grandchildren, Emma, Anna and Jena, all of Murray.

The funeral service for Joy is set for 1 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4th Street, Murray. Brett Miles will officiate and burial will follow at Bazzell Cemetery.

Her family welcomes visitors from 10 AM until 1 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the funeral home.
