Trisha Lynn Ball

Trisha Lynn Ball, age 54 passed away February 11, 2023, at Baptist Hospital.  She was born in Mayfield on April 26, 1968.
 
Trisha graduated from Ballard Memorial High School in 1986. Trisha then completed nursing school and became an Assistant Director of Nursing at Bellevue Health and Rehab Center in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband Jim Mayes, parents Sharol and Ross Dowdy, sisters Shannon Bussell (Jack), Vera Walker, Danelle Young and her brothers Ross Dowdy Jr. (Nikki) and Jonathan Dowdy (Rachel Cole) and nieces and nephews Cheyenne Bussell, Chance Fussell, Dalton Fussell, Joshua Walker, Rebekka Walker, Clayton Dowdy, Nicholas Dowdy, Julianne Dowdy and great niece and nephew Liam Fussell and Olivia Fussell.
She loved each one and had nicknames for each one. 
 
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Homer and Vanda Ward and Milburn and Dorthy Jean Dowdy, brother-in-law, Kevin Walker.
 
Trisha was a great inspiration who thought of everyone before herself. It gave her the greatest joy to create and present a new dish for her family at family dinners. Trisha not only loved big, but she lived life big as well. Not only was she passionate about caring for others in her nursing career she cared about her family, friends and especially her furbabies.
 
Funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Brent Clark officiating.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
