Ronald L. Goins, 79, of Ledbetter passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at home surrounded by family.
Mr. Goins was an Operating Engineer and was a member of Local 181 for 49 years. He was an avid gardener who loved to share his vegetables with friends and family.
He is survived by two sons, John Goins (Jenny) of Cantonment, FL, and Jimmy Goins (Stephanie) of Gilbertsville; longtime friend, Marsha Fasnacht; one brother, Bill Goins (Linda) of Ledbetter; two sisters, Rachel Lewis of Grand Rivers and Linda Tutor (Jim) of Reidland; four grandchildren, Ryan Goins (Brittany), Jena Morgan (Sean), Maddie Goins, and Macey Goins; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lessie (Duncan) Goins; five brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Todd Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Eddyville.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
