Patricia Joy Burnett, age 86, passed peacefully in her home on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in Paducah, KY. A strong, resilient woman who lived life on her own terms, always keeping the Lord and her family close to her heart.
Patricia worked as a dietician for Oakview Manor in Calvert City and was a member of East Baptist Church in Paducah.
She is survived by her three daughters, Penny Burnett, Angie Downing, and Beth Wooley (Michael); grandchildren, Megan Johnson (Nick), Taylor Downing (Andrew), Parker Cavitt (Kyle), and Hunter Downing (Victoria); great grandson, Bentley Cavitt; and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hazel Lockett; her husband, Don Burnett; daughter, Tammy Lynn Burnett; son, Mike Burnett; brother, Tommy Lockett; and sister, Peggy Rikel.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Rosebower Cemetery in Paducah with Bro. Michael Wooley officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah.
