December 31, 1942 – August 2, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Anne Fielding, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 83.

Anne was born on December 31, 1942, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Stuart and Grace Price. She spent her childhood surrounded by the love of her family and friends, and long fun-filled days with her sisters Moyah and Judy.

When she was 20 years old, she married Harold Lee Fuson. They were married for 13 years and had two children, Vicki Lee Fuson, and Gregory Scott Fuson. Anne was a devoted mother to her two children, Vicki and Scott, who were her pride and joy. She loved, nurtured, and encouraged them always.

Anne married Robert Thomas Fielding Jr on June 29, 1990 in Morris Illinois. Together they embarked on an adventurous life lived to the fullest around friends and family and spent as much time as possible enjoying nature and the great outdoors. When Robert (Bobby) retired, they moved to Paducah, Kentucky to start their next adventure. There is not enough time or space to write about all of the adventures, experiences, and loving friendships Anne enjoyed during her time on this earth.

Anne was a vibrant member of her church community at Bethel Tabernacle in Paducah, Kentucky. Her infectious spirit and warm smile brought joy to everyone she met. Anne always had kind words and sincere love for everyone she knew.

Anne is survived by her son; Gregory “Scott” Fuson her grandchildren, Miller Fuson and Kristi Lewis; her sisters, Moyah Dalton and Judy Myers; sister-in-law Tina Miller, best friend Margaret Holland, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends and extended family whose lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby, who passed away in 2016, and her daughter Vicki Lee Williams in 2015.

A celebration of Anne’s life will be held at 5:30 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Richard Phillips officiating. Friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories of Anne and honor her legacy.

Anne’s light will forever shine in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
