Judith (Judy) Annette Neal

Judith (Judy) Annette Neal, 76, of McCracken, Kentucky passed away on September 14, 2023, at Baptist Health Paducah. 

She was born on August 22, 1947, in Melber, Kentucky to the late Wilton and Novella Courtney. Judy retired from McCracken Board of Education as a school bus driver. She lived life loving deeply, spending her time with family, playing bingo, and loving on her grandchildren. She was affectionately known as a second “mom” to neighborhood kids where her own children grew up. She loved nature and she saw to it that no squirrel, fish, deer, or bird went unfed. She selflessly gave to multiple charities throughout her life.
 
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Novella Courtney, her sister Melva Crenshaw, and most recently, her loving husband of 56 years, Dennis Ray Neal. She is survived by three sons, Danny (Lisa) Neal of Paducah. Tony (Erica) Neal of Paducah and Brad (Micki) Neal of Paducah; two sisters, Dianne Garland of Paducah, KY and Martha Gibson of Melber, KY; four grandchildren, Stephanie Felker, Brittany Neal, Daniel Neal, Ashley Neal; one step-grandson, Josh Rodgers; two great-grandchildren, Milo Felker and Ollie Felker.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home with Craig Felker officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in West Paducah. 

Friends may visit with Judy’s family from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 18, 2023.
