Gladys Joann Cothron

Gladys Joann (Morgan) Cothron, 89, of Ocala, FL, passed away at 2:06 AM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Advent Health Hospital in Ocala, FL.
 
Mrs. Cothron was a retired Bank Teller and she was of the Baptist faith.
 
She is survived by her husband, William Lynn Cothron of Ocala; three sons, Edward Lynn (Kathy) Cothron, Thomas Allen (Candace) Cothron, David Charles (Renee) Cothron; one brother, Alvin Ray Morgan; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Morgan; sister, Wanda Lou (Morgan) Cupp.
 
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jim Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Cothron Cemetery in Smithland, KY.
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
