Gene Thompson

Gene Thompson, 85, of Reidland passed away at 8:30 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
 
Mr. Thompson retired from Teamsters Union as an Operating Engineer.
 
He is survived by one daughter, Resa Ross of harvest, AL; one sister, Barbara (Don) Byerly of Reidland; one nephew, Darrell Taylor; two great nephews, Alex, Matt; one great niece, Lexie.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Comilious Thompson and Isabelle (Smith) Thompson; one sister, Judith Ann Thompson.
 
Graveside services will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah with Rob Ison officiating with the burial to follow.
 
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah.
