Floyd Steven Cruse, 92, of Paducah passed away at 3:40 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his residence.
 
Floyd was born on September 18, 1931 to William Floyd and Minnie Ethel (Stoms) Cruse in Melber, KY. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean War where he served in Alaska as a Communications Specialist. He was a welder at Grover C. Watkins and Southern Illinois Steel.
 
Floyd married the love of his life, Beatrice (Willingham) Cruse on November 10, 1956 and they were married for 68 years. He became a Jehovah’s Witness in 1964. He loved his home and spending time with his family.
 
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Cruse; two daughters, Linda (Keith) Warner, Donna (André) Bennett; one son, Steven (Cindy) Cruse; four grandchildren, David Cruse, Toni Robinson, Andrea Robinson, Alex Bennett; 7 great-grandchildren, Alison, Titus, Draevyn, Oliver, Timia, Tru, Zyhir; two brothers, Harold Cruse, Don Gunter.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Floyd Cruse and Minnie Ethel (Stoms) Cruse; two brothers, Jerry Lynn Cruse, Lennis Cruse; four sisters, Jerralleen Cruse, Anna Faye Thomasson, Imazane Thomasson, Ruthie Ritchie.
 
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Darrell Ricks officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
