Everette Boyd Qualls, a man of remarkable life and faith, departed this world on February 27, 2026, to join his Lord and Savior. Born December 10, 1932, he lived a long and fulfilling life spanning 93 years.
Everette was a devoted member of Gospel Mission Church, where he dedicated his life to serving the Lord and teaching His Word for over 60 years. Even in the later years, he remained committed to spreading the message of Jesus to others. He was a retired painter-carpenter.
During the Korean War, Everette served in the Navy, and he cherished sharing stories about his ship with anyone who would listen. His passion for fishing was evident in his eagerness to “wet a hook” whenever he had the opportunity. As a talented cook, he was particularly known for his fish dishes.
